Completion of the School of Young Scientists

In the period from March 25 to March 30, the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” hosted online classes of the School of Young Scientists initiated by the Council of Young Scientists and Students.

The main goal of the School of Young Scientists is to form a unique educational and scientific space for the development of a young scientist, which is one of the important factors in the development of science in Ukraine and its popularization. The task of the activity is to select and prepare priority topics, and conduct classes and prepare the necessary materials for conducting, as well as attract qualified experts and specialists to conduct trainings on selected topics.

In the first week of the School, more than 60 participants registered and took part, who showed active participation and interest.

As an experienced scientist, a person with experience, the School was opened by Anatolii ZHUCHOK, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work. Welcoming speech was also given to Olha KORINSKA, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and STUDENTS. Invited speakers at the first week of the School were professionals in their field: Olha CHERNYAVSKA – teacher of the Department of Audio-Visual Art, professional actress of theater and cinema; Sergii SYDORENKO – teacher of computer science at vocational school # 44 in Mirgorod, graduate student, certified teacher at Microsoft (Microsoft certified educator); Vladymyr MOROZ – candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, chairman of the primary trade union organization; Oksana SHEVCHYK – leading librarian of the university, head teacher of the school of academic integrity; Lina BONDARENKO – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Mathematics and Informatics.

All topics presented by the speakers and discussed with the participants were aimed at the traditional holding of the Days of Science at the University, which will be held in April.

The Council of Young Scientists and Students of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” sincerely thanks all the participants and speakers of the School for their initiative, activity, positive attitude and interest in the project that has just begun its work. We really hope that we will meet with everyone more than once, and also significantly expand our borders.

We are waiting for everyone at the next weeks of the School, and are also pleased to invite everyone to join the work of the II International Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Issues, Problems and Prospects for the Development of Science and Education,” which will be held on April 25 – 27, 2024 (April 25 – in person, Poltava, 45a Sobornosti St.), as well as April 26 and 27 – online, where you will expect a lot of interesting information.
