Defense of Pedagogical Practice by 3rd-year Students at the Romance & Germanic Philology Department

On 29 March 2024, the defense of the industrial (pedagogical) practice of the 3rd year students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology & Journalism, majoring in 014 Secondary Education, took place online. Language and Literature (English, German, French, Spanish).

The Romance & Germanic Philology Department applicants’ internships ran from 04 March to 24 March 2024. They had the opportunity to teach foreign languages and foreign literature in general secondary education institutions.

The pedagogical practice was carried out in a mixed format.

While defending their pedagogical practice materials, the applicants shared their impressions of working with secondary school students. They prepared short reports and presentations of foreign language and literature lessons and extracurricular activities. Some of them demonstrated fragments of career guidance activities and masterclasses for students.

The most active interns also took the initiative to conduct meaningful career guidance work with students in grades 9-11.
