Ebru technique master class

A master class on the Ebru technique was held for students of the Starobilsk Professional College.

On March 27, 2024, a master class on the Ebro technique was held for students of the Starobilsk Professional College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The Ebru technique (“marble paper”) is the art of painting with paints not on paper, but on water with the help of special paints and tools. The image created on water is carefully transferred to paper. This technique was invented in the East about 600 years ago. For centuries, “marble paper” has been used to decorate rooms, design book covers, wrap gifts, etc.

The master class was organized by Olha Oleksandrivna Salii, a teacher at the Lubny Art School. The event was held with the aim of familiarizing students with this technique of art therapy and activating the interest of participants in artistic activities.

All participants of the master class were given the opportunity to try to create their own drawings, based on their feelings and worldview.

Such meetings help to develop creativity, imagination, fantasy, flexibility and independent thinking of the participants.
