Participation in the online seminar “How can an educational institution become an advisory service?”

The teachers of the ER INAS took part in the online seminar “How can an educational institution become an advisory service?”.

On March 14, 2024, a team of teachers of the Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, led by the director of the institute Natalia Matsai, took part in the online seminar “How can an educational institution become an advisory service?”.

The Scientific and Methodological Center of Higher and Vocational Pre-Higher Education in partnership with the National Association of Agricultural Advisory Services of Ukraine (NASDSU) is conducting a series of online events for teachers on the issue of involving educational institutions in advisory activities. The participation of educational institutions in advisory activities is a world practice and is necessary for the development of our country.

The purpose of conducting a series of online events is to promote cooperation between scientists and communities aimed at building territorial communities and sustainable development of territories.

The series of events was started with an online seminar on the topic “How can an educational institution become an advisory service?”. The speakers at the event were the best experts in this field.

The involvement of Ukrainian educational institutions in such activities aims to positively influence the development of agriculture and rural areas. The speakers familiarized the participants with the approaches and procedures for the participation of higher and professional higher education institutions of Ukraine in agricultural advisory activities, in particular regarding the acquisition of the status of an agricultural advisory service, provision of advisory services, participation in the training of specialists for agricultural advisory activities – key aspects of the seminar.

Based on the results of the training, the participants were asked to complete a final paper in order to receive certificates. The teachers of the institute successfully completed the proposed tasks and received certificates.
