School of Young Scientists. Day 4

The fourth day of the Young Scientist School was devoted to academic integrity.

Today we were acquainted with the leading provisions of academic integrity by the leading librarian, head teacher of the school of academic integrity of LTSNU Oksana Shevchik.

She described the definition of “Academic Integrity”: its basic principles and values were considered. The lecturer discussed with students the importance of observing academic integrity in the educational process. Also at the lecture were considered the types of violations of academic integrity, the causes of this phenomenon and strategies for avoiding them.

Attention was paid to the rules for the design of sources in the final list of literature, the design of the results of their own research and the rules for compiling bibliographic notes.

A separate pleasant moment of the meeting was that all participants will additionally receive a certificate of passing the School of Academic Integrity.
