Participation in the Hradec Králové Anglophone Conference 2024

On 21-22 March 2024, Svitlana Shekhavtsova, Professor of the Department of Romance & Germanic Philology, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, participated in the international Anglophone Conference (Hradec Králové, Czech Republic). This year, the Conference aimed to actively discuss topical issues in linguistics, literature, methodology, and cultural studies.

Doc. Shekhavtsova presented “Stages of linguacultural adaptation: Levels of foreign cultural awareness” reviewing the different stages of the adaptive process, including the stages of language learning, adaptation to local customs and cultural features, integration into a new social environment, etc. The scientific research of Shekhavtsova S.O. was of interest to the conference participants who study intercultural communication, migration, and international relations.
