Learning about academic integrity

College students were trained in academic integrity.

During the two days of March 15 and 18, 2024, an event on the topic “Academic Integrity” was held in a mixed format for students and teachers of the Starobilsk Professional College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the Professional College of LTSNU.

The participants of the meeting talked about ethical principles and values, found out what such concepts as: economic fraud, self-plagiarism and falsification are. Oksana Volodymyrivna Shevchyk, the leading librarian, spoke about strategies for avoiding plagiarism and gave sound advice on how to avoid it in practice. And she also emphasized responsibility for violations of academic integrity.
