Career orientation work

During the week, the team of educational and scientific institutes and professional colleges located in the city of Myrhorod carried out career orientation trips with advertising of our university.

The problem of choosing a profession has always been relevant and remains so in modern conditions. Which profession to choose is one of the main tasks in the life of every person. Particularly significant is the problem of students acquiring adequate knowledge about institutions of higher education, a certain type of professional activity, and their own opportunities to master it.

In order to facilitate the choice of a future profession, career orientation meetings with pupils of Poltava region were held the other day with representatives of structural subdivisions: Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies, Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management, Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, Brianka and Rubizhne Professional Colleges.

During the events, representatives of the university team presented the history and structure of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University to the graduates, provided information on the locations of the university’s 10 educational and scientific institutes, 6 separate professional colleges and the vocational training center. The team presented all admission offers of the university and colleges, the features of the project of admission conditions in 2024, explained the features of registration and passing the exams, talked about the activities of the student self-government of the university.

Future entrants, graduates of the 9th, 10th and 11th grades, listened with interest to the representatives of the university staff and asked many questions. Meetings were held depending on the security situation: in classrooms or bomb shelters of educational institutions.
