Participation in the International Round Table

An important step in the development of the academic environment: participation in the International Round Table “Creation of infrastructure and conflict resolution procedures at the university: theory and practice.”
As part of the global initiative supported by the European Union within the framework of the project “CONSENT: increasing the role of alternative dispute resolution with a focus on mediation in Ukraine”, representatives of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, professors Yu.M. Klapkiv, V. V. Trynchuk and associate professors V.V. Maltseva, N.B. Tkachenko participated in the International Round Table “Creation of infrastructure and conflict resolution procedures at the university: theory and practice”.
The event was jointly organized by the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, the State University of Trade and Economics, the National University “Odesa Maritime Academy”, the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University and the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation with the financial support of the European Union provided as part of the project “CONSENT: increasing the role of alternative dispute resolution with a focus on mediation in Ukraine”.
The partners of the event were: The Center for Peace Studies and Violence Prevention at Virginia Tech (USA), University of Southampton (Great Britain), NGO “Progresilny” (UA), Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Ukraine), University of Warsaw (Poland), Faculty of Sociology and Law of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (Ukraine).
This event became a platform for discussing the conceptual foundations of conflict resolution in the educational environment, presenting the experience of well-known institutions of higher education, and sharing best practices in this important area.
The importance of the round table is not only in the exchange of experiences, but also in the joint search for effective ways to resolve conflicts, which contributes to the creation of a more harmonious and productive educational environment. Such measures play a key role in improving the quality of education and forming a fair academic culture.
We are grateful to the organizers for the opportunity to participate in such an important event and are proud of the representatives of our department who demonstrate their commitment to the development of academic expertise and the desire to improve the university environment.
