Discussion of the educational programs and curricula

On March 12, the Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences held an extended meeting of the department, where the projects of educational and professional programs and curricula for them were discussed.

The guarantors of educational and professional programs presented the projects of 5 educational and professional programs and curricula for them in 3 specialties (014.07 “Secondary Education (Geography)”, 102 “Chemistry”, 103 “Earth Sciences”), which were developed by project groups.

The following were presented for consideration:

  • EPP “Secondary Education (Geography)” of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education, the guarantor is Hanna Volodymyrivna Havriushenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor.
  • EPP “Secondary Education (Geography)” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, the guarantor is Iryna Hennadiivna Melnyk, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor.
  • EPP “Earth Sciences” of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education, the guarantor is Dmytro Serhiiovych Sopov, Doctor of Philosophy in Earth Sciences, Associate Professor.
  • EPP “Earth Sciences” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, the guarantor is Mykola Ivanovych Udovychenko, Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Associate Professor.
  • EPP “Chemistry” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, the guarantor is Eduard Volodymyrovych Potapenko, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor.

The guarantors of the EPP spoke about the structure of the EPP, its purpose, competencies and program results of training, they also focused on educational components and presented structural and logical schemes.

During the month, starting from February 15, teachers of the department, students, graduates and external stakeholders fruitfully worked on improving the above-mentioned educational and professional programs and curricula for them. All suggestions and comments were taken into account.

According to the results of the extended meeting of the department, all presented projects of educational and professional programs and curricula for them were approved and recommended for consideration by the Academic Council of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences.
