All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Internet Seminar

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism took part in the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Internet Seminar “In one’s own house there is truth, strength, and will.”

An online seminar devoted to the 210th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko was held recently. The scientific event was organized on March 7, 2024 by the Department of Business Linguistics of Vadym Hetman Kyiv National University of Economics. The co-organizers of the online seminar were Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (Poltava), Kyiv National Linguistics University, Boris Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, P.I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (Kyiv), National University of Water Management and Nature Management (Rivne).

The moderator of the online seminar from our university was Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language, Margarita Kravchenko.

Presentations and their discussion took place in an atmosphere of creative communication, exchange of opinions, determination of topical issues within the thematic areas of the seminar:

• A rebel in life is a rebel in creativity.
• Today, the word of Kobzar is guarding Ukraine (T. Shevchenko in terms of modern infographics, social networks, artificial intelligence).
• Kobzar’s creativity absorbed the whole Ukrainian world, and the whole world now knows Shevchenko’s word.

As a result of the discussion of the reports, the participants of the Internet seminar approved the opinion about the modernity of Shevchenko’s word, about the need to study it, to understand and interpret it in a new way.

All students will receive certificates of participation in the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Internet Seminar.

We thank the teachers of the Department of Business Linguistics of Vadym Hetman Kyiv National University of Economics for the opportunity to join the discussion of Kobzar’s creative heritage, which has not lost its significance even today and is an example of the artist’s dedication to his native people and Ukraine.
