Regional Meeting “Side by Side”

On March 11, the Director of the Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU took part in the regional meeting. 

On March 11, 2024, the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU took part in the regional meeting on the organization, conduct and participation in physical culture and health, sports and mass sports events among pupils and students for the 2023-2024 academic year “Side by Side” with the support of the President of Ukraine and on the initiative of the Luhansk Regional Branch (branch) of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.

More than 40 participants took part in the event – they are managers, methodologists and specialists of the Department of Education and Science, the Department of Youth and Sports of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, managers, teachers of physical education, physical culture teachers of professional (vocational and technical), professional pre-university and higher institutions of education of the Luhansk region.

The first thing that the participants of the meeting considered was the issue of organizing, conducting and participating students in the final competitions of the All-Ukrainian physical culture and health, sports and mass sports events among pupils and students for the 2023-2024 academic year “Side by Side”.

Next, specialists and employees of the education sector were introduced to the new regional physical culture and health event “Regional competition “Sports Games of Luhansk Region” among those who have acquired professional (vocational and technical), professional pre-higher and higher education of Luhansk region”. This event is planned to be held in two stages during March-April 2024, with the maximum involvement of pupils and student youth.

At the end of the online meeting, the results of the meeting were summarized and suggestions were heard regarding the implementation of other sports and health activities to popularize physical culture and sports and increase physical activity among school and student youth.

The organizing committee thanked all the participants of the event for their active, fruitful work, wished everyone a peaceful sky and good health, inspiration and inexhaustible vital energy, new achievements and success in all endeavors.
