Guest Lecture for Future Translators

A guest lecture was held at the Translation Studies Department for students – future translators. The lecture was delivered by the head of the International Military Cooperation Group of the Northern Operational Command “North”, Olexander Volodymyrovych Lobanov, on the topic “Military Terminology in International Peacekeeping and Security Operations”.

The lecturer unveiled contemporary trends and challenges faced by military forces in conducting international operations to ensure peace and security. He illustrated and decoded a series of key terms used in this context, elucidating their significance and impact on the success of operations. The lecture gained popularity among students and professionals who had the opportunity not only to hear a professional perspective on the matter but also to pose questions to the highly qualified expert.
