Meeting of students with a PR technologist

Monetization of reputation: what is PR and why does everyone have PR?

On February 22, the Educational and Research Institute of Arts of LTSNU was visited by the media officer of the Poltava regional organization of the “Servant of the People” (“Sluha narodu”) party, PR technologist Maryna Borysenko.

During the meeting with students and teachers, Ms. Maryna talked about the peculiarities of her profession. Maryna Borysenko has been working in political and commercial PR for five years. The students were interested in her experience. In Ms. Maryna’s opinion, journalists should have PR skills, and PR professionals will not be hindered by journalistic skill, in particular, writing texts, shooting and editing videos.

Maryna Borysenko graduated from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Here, the “Audiovisual Art and Production” specialty teaches television journalism, the basics of camera work and other skills needed in the field of PR.

This meeting was an important event for students and teachers of the Institute of Arts. They were able to gain valuable knowledge and insights about PR and its impact on our society.
