Master class “Petrykiv Painting”

The Institute of Arts continues a series of professional orientation master classes.

On March 4, another master class from the Institute of Arts took place in the SOS Children’s Villages. The master class “Petrykiv Painting” was conducted by Nataliia Dihtiar, head of the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine.

The participants of the master class learned about the history of Petrykiv painting, the work of outstanding masters, and the technological techniques of this unique type of folk decorative and applied art. After completing the exercises on mastering Petrykiv painting, the participants created greeting cards “Beautiful Spring”.
