Open lecture by Nataliia Dihtiar

A master class by Nataliia Dihtiar, a member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine.
On February 27, an open lecture with elements of a master class was held by the Candidate of Sciences, head of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts of the ER IA Nataliia Dihtiar on the topic “Artistic and pedagogical aspects of folk painting” within the framework of the component “History of decorative and applied of the Arts of Ukraine” for the first year master’s students majoring in “Fine Art, Decorative Art, Restoration”.
The event will be attended by the director of the Institute of Arts Iryna Prodan, deputy director for educational work Rostyslav Pidpalyi, heads of departments, and teachers.
Also, as part of cooperation between universities, students of the Department of Fine Arts of the Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University together with the head of the Department, Associate Professor Tetiana Saienko.
The lecturer in an interesting way with the use of information technologies presented material about the history of the origin and existence of folk painting, captivated the listeners with this type of folk art. An interesting interactive method of assimilating information was a master class by Ms. Natalia, because she is a member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine, and has been painting on glass for more than 20 years and reviving the forgotten technique of folk painting on glass.
Everyone had the opportunity to create sketches and learn about the technology of folk painting in the material. The open lecture was held in the art department of the Poltava Regional Library named after I.P. Kotliarevskyi.
