“Presentation of the University in Myrhorod”

On March 6, an event dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was held in Myrhorod. 

The Rector of the University, Olena KARAMAN, and the head of the Academic Council, Vitalii KURYLO, addressed the applicants with congratulatory words. They told about the history of the university, mentioned the traditions, and presented the majors for which they can enter the institution this year.

From its foundation in 1921 to the present day, the university has gone through a long and thorny path: wars, evacuations, changes in political regimes, reorganizations, renaming – all this has been experienced by Luhansk National University during its many years of history!

At the same time, thanks to courage and many years of experience, thanks to highly intellectual work and dedicated service, the university staff withstood this blow and continued their work in the educational and scientific field!

In general, the event provided extended information for applicants regarding the 2024 admissions campaign, and presented admission offers for Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and its separate subdivisions.

Certificates were presented to the best education achievers by Volodymyr MOROZ, the head of the Primary Trade Union Organization.

An exhibition of creative works of teachers and students was also arranged at the meeting.

Antonina NIKITCHENKO, head of affairs of the executive committee, joined the event and wished the teachers and future students of the university fruitful work, success and victory at all levels.

Congratulatory words were delivered by all the directors of the subdivisions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University located in the city of Myrhorod.

The Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences Nataliia MATSAI also made a welcome speech and emphasized that today, in the conditions of war, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is entrusted with an extremely responsible and honorable mission – the education and upbringing of a new generation of Ukrainians, and it is this day that is written in her own hand the history of the university continues, and only a united team will be able to overcome all difficulties.

We will win – Ukraine will win too!
