War takes away the best…

The paratrooper Danylo Naumov, call sign Naum, was killed by an enemy sniper’s bullet in the battle for the “Sherwood forest” – a forest area east of the Izium-Sloviansk highway.

The defender is forever 22 years old. Danylo comes from the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region. In 2019, he graduated from Rubizhne Polytechnic College named after O. E. Porai-Koshytsia, which is a subdivision of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, and obtained a specialty in commodity science. During his studies, he worked at Nova Poshta. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Right Youth organization, then joined the Right Sector. He was interested in computers. He loved sports, played handball and judo, was interested in football. Also he collected stamps.

In 2020, the boy joined the ranks of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 90th separate airmobile battalion named after the Hero of Ukraine, senior lieutenant Ivan Zubkov, which is part of the 81st separate airmobile brigade. He performed combat tasks on the territory of the OOS. During the full-scale war, he held the position of a gunner-operator. From the first days of the invasion, together with his comrades, he continued to restrain and destroy the enemy in Kharkiv region and Donetsk region.

The young soldier was buried at the Ivanovsky cemetery near Kramatorsk in Donetsk region.
