All-Ukrainian webinar “Modern Challenges of Social Work”

On March 5, 2024, another webinar from the “Modern Challenges of Social Work” series was held.
The webinar was organized by the Department of Social Pedagogy of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.
The speaker of the fourth edition of the webinar on the topic: “Development of family forms of education in the context of deinstitutionalization” was Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy of the “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, manager of the development of family forms of education of the Children’s Educational Institution “SOS Children’s Villages” Svitlana Tuntuieva.
More than 200 participants from different regions of Ukraine took part in the event, including social workers, professional social workers of territorial communities, representatives of social service centers, territorial centers, public organizations and charitable foundations, teachers of pre-university and higher education institutions, students of the first (bachelor’s) ), second (master’s) and third (educational and scientific) levels of various higher education institutions of Ukraine.
As a result of participating in the webinar, the participants acquired such competences as: the ability to navigate the system of laws and regulatory acts operating in the sphere of ensuring the child’s right to a family; the ability to organize informing citizens about family forms of education; the ability to organize and provide social support for foster families, family-type orphanages and other forms of family education.
We are continuing the work of our webinar and we are waiting for everyone next Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at a meeting with Olena Biletska with a lecture on the topic: “Activities of the Ukrainian Women’s Guard in Relation to Working with Women in War”.
