On March 5, 2024, the leadership team and representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University held an online meeting on Applicant Day, to which everyone was invited.
240 people joined the Zoom conference by the link. The online event from the university was attended by: Rector Olena KARAMAN, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Yaroslav Yurkiv, directors of colleges, directors of educational and scientific institutes, deans of faculties, their deputies, heads of departments, and teachers.
The event was opened by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Olena KARAMAN, who spoke about the University itself and its history, provided information about structural subdivisions, as well as specialties. She invited young people to join one of the most glorious institutions of higher education in Ukraine with a 103-year history, which trains specialists of various profiles.
Next, a video was shown to all those present, in which all the information of the educational-scientific-production complex of LTSNU was provided in detail.
The responsible secretary of the admissions committee, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Viktoria Volodavchyk introduced the admission conditions and rules for admission to the university in 2024.
During the online meeting, the attendees asked university representatives their questions, to which the teaching staff gladly answered in detail. The questions were versatile: about majors, admission requirements, educational processes, leisure time, and more. The meeting lasted almost three hours and took place in a very rich and positive format.
Dear friends! At Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, all categories of the population can get an education, starting with admission on the basis of the 9th grade and ending with the second education in the master’s degree. There are also postgraduate and doctoral programs for the training of doctors of science and doctors of philosophy. The educational offer of the university – 150 specialties and educational programs!
