Guest lecture “Actual Problems of Speech Therapy”

On March 1, 2024, a guest lecture “Actual Problems of Speech Therapy” was held at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology. 

The lecture was conducted by Viktoria Isachenko, chief speech therapist of the Department of Public Health of the Dnipro City Council, senior lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Special Education, Faculty of Psychology and Special Education of the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. The meeting was attended by students of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education majoring in 016 Special Education of educational programs 016.02 Oligophrenopedagogy. Special Psychology, 016.01 Speech Therapy. Special Psychology of full-time and part-time forms of education, teachers of the department of special education.

The lecture was held at the initiative of scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department with the aim of improving the quality of assimilation of theoretical knowledge by students, forming skills for solving practical problems.

During the lecture, Ms. Viktoria presented the topical issues of speech therapy successfully, emotionally colored and extremely informative, in the technological aspect. 

At the end of the lecture, teachers and students expressed their gratitude to Viktoria Isachenko for the interesting and meaningful lecture that motivated students to further self-development and self-improvement, for experience that is invaluable for our future professionals!
