Participation in the online seminar

Teachers of the Special Education Department took part in the online seminar.

On February 29, 2024, teachers of the Department of Special Education of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University led by the Head of the Department Inna Hrygorieva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, took part in the online seminar “Helping children with attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity in general secondary education institutions”, organized by the inclusive resource center of the Mosty City Council of the Lviv region (director Lidia Hiz).

Presentations were made by: Iryna Makarenko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Special Education, topic “Using hardware technologies in working with children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder”; Viktoria Danchak, assistant of the Department of Special Education; specialist of the inclusive resource center of the Mosty City Council of the Lviv region, topic “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder”.

The meeting was attended by primary school teachers, teacher assistants, IRC specialists, and parents. A friendly, productive atmosphere prevailed during the meeting. All participants of the seminar took part in the discussion of the topics of the seminar and reports, had the opportunity to ask questions and express their opinions.

At the end of the seminar, the participants were given career orientation work on admission to the specialty 016 Special education of educational programs 016.02 Oligophrenopedagogy. Special Psychology; 016.01 Speech Therapy. Special Psychology. Career orientation materials of the department, educational and scientific institute of pedagogy and psychology with a list of all specialties were also presented. Those present were invited to participate in the Open Days of the University.
