Guest lecture from practitioners at the ER IPP

On February 29, 2024, a guest lecture was held at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

The guest lecture on the topic “Features of speech therapy diagnosis of children with severe speech disorders in the conditions of an inclusive resource center” was held by Iryna Dmitrienko, teacher-speech therapist of the highest qualification category, teacher-methodologist of the Poltava educational and rehabilitation center of the Poltava Regional Council.

The participants of the meeting were the bachelor’s and master’s students majoring in 016 Special Education of educational programs 016.02 Oligophrenopedagogy. Special Psychology, 016.01 Speech Therapy. Special Psychology of full-time and part-time forms of education, as well as teachers of the Department of Special Education.

During the lecture, Mrs. Iryna successfully directed the theoretical knowledge accumulated by the students in the practical direction of complex diagnostics and providing corrective assistance to children with systemic disorders of the formation of speech activity.

At the final stage of the lecture, the team of teachers, masters and bachelors of special education expressed their desire and confidence in the continuation of cooperation, since such lectures diversify traditional forms of education, form the ability to perceive different points of view, and are a tool for improving the quality of specialist training.
