The mentors familiarized the future language teachers with the history of the foundation of the university from March 1, 1921, when the provincial higher pedagogical courses were opened, on the basis of which the first Institute of Public Education in Donbas (DINO) was later founded in Luhansk.
Significant moments in the history of the university were illustrated by a multimedia presentation, on the slides of which were recorded the first graduations of writers, graduates of the historical and philological department, participants in artistic amateur activities, and the teaching staff.
The students learned about such historical documents as the matricule (record book), trips to folklore practice, diplomas of graduates of different years, etc., and tried to understand the creative heritage of well-known Ukrainian scientists – M.F.
