All-Ukrainian Webinar “Modern Challenges of Social Work”

On February 27, the third meeting was held as part of the All-Ukrainian Webinar “Modern Challenges of Social Work”.

Halyna Bozhenko, a sociologist, co-author of GISMAOVK, coordinator of the Network of analysts and monitors of GISMAOVK, was the speaker of the third edition of the webinar on the topic: “Presentation of the geo-information system of monitoring, analysis, assessment and conflict resolution”.

The online event was traditionally attended by more than 150 participants from different regions of Ukraine, among whom were practitioners of the social sphere, psychologists, social pedagogues and teachers of general secondary education institutions, teachers of pre-university and higher education institutions, students of the first (bachelor’s), second (master’s) education ) and third (educational and scientific) levels of various higher education institutions of Ukraine.

As a result of participation in the webinar, the participants acquired such competencies as: the ability to think critically, analyze, synthesize, and forecast; the ability to initiate, plan and manage changes to improve existing and develop new social services; the ability to establish social interaction, cooperation, manage multifaceted communication, prevent and resolve conflicts; the ability to mediate in the community; the ability to facilitate dialogue.

The Department of Social Pedagogy of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University expresses its sincere gratitude to the speaker Halyna Bozhenko for a meaningful, thorough and useful report, as well as to our co-organizers, the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work of the Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, for fruitful cooperation and the possibility of organizing and holding such important modern events.

We continue to increase the professional competence of specialists in the social sphere, our teachers and students through non-formal education. We are waiting for everyone next Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at a meeting with Svitlana Tuntuyeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy of LTSNU, manager of the development of family forms of education at the SOS Children’s Villages  with the topic: “Development of family forms of education in the context of deinstitutionalization”.
