The Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences held a scientific seminar “Online Registration of Copyright for a Work: Actual Changes”.
The Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences organized and conducted a scientific seminar dedicated to the actual changes in the online copyright registration procedures for a work. The event was held in accordance with the work plan of the institute, namely the direction of work “Formation of a positive image of the teacher”.
In 2023, 12 certificates of copyright for a work were obtained by scientific and pedagogical workers of the ER INAS. This work continues, therefore, awareness of the issues of copyright registration is an urgent necessity for the successful confirmation of subsequent applications. At the beginning of this year, there were changes in the rules of registration of copyright for a work, which teachers encountered when submitting applications for obtaining a certificate, however, as experience has shown, such changes are not critical and successful application submission is a reality, even in conditions of remote processing of documents.
The seminar was prepared and conducted by Dmytro SOPOV, head of the Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences, who currently holds 8 copyright certificates for the work. The seminar was attended by the heads of departments of the ER IANS Halyna Yevtushenko, Olena Boiarchuk, Iryna Kravets, and teachers of all departments of the institute.
During the meeting, Mr. Dmytro demonstrated step-by-step how to upload and send documents in real time. The peculiarity of this process is the use of a qualified electronic signature and the procedure for registration of copyright for several authors, which caused a lot of questions, to which Mr. Dmytro provided detailed answers. The processing of payment for the certificate, which also has its own characteristics, was considered as a separate issue.
We thank Mr. Dmytro for the information and experience provided, and we wish success to all teachers who plan to obtain a copyright certificate.
