Olympiad at the ER IPP

The Olympiad in the discipline “Fundamentals of the Theoretical Course of Mathematics” was held at the ER IPP.

On February 26, 2024, Kateryna Kovalenko, assistant of the Department of Elementary Education, held an Olympiad in the discipline “Fundamentals of the Theoretical Course of Mathematics” for the first-year students majoring in “Elementary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”, the purpose of which is to search for gifted student youth, to improve the professional training of future specialists.

The participants were offered various competitive tasks, including logical and creative ones (creating a mathematical game). Such tasks allow students to reveal their analytical skills, lead to a deeper understanding of mathematics, mastering it, contribute to the formation of combinatorial, probabilistic thinking, and a creative approach to solving the given task. At the same time, developing your own math game promotes self-expression, allowing students to apply knowledge of the basics of mathematics in a creative way and make something new and interesting.

The winners of the Olympiad will be awarded certificates. We wish our students success!
