Production practice at the ER IBM

In February, students of the ER IBM majoring in “Finance, Banking and Insurance” underwent production practice.

In February, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management of the EP “Finance, Banking and Insurance” of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education began to undergo industrial practice, which is an important component of the professional training of future financiers. Industrial practice is designed to form professional skills in a higher education student, skills to make independent decisions in a specific area of work in real production conditions by performing duties inherent in future professional, organizational and managerial activities in the field of finance.

The main goal of practice is to combine theoretical training with the formation of practical skills in the profession to ensure the competitiveness of future specialists in the conditions of modern needs of society and the requirements of the labor market.

Herman Zaitsev, a bachelor’s third-year student, chose the most innovative bank of Ukraine – Privatbank – as the basis for his online practice. Interesting and useful practice allowed him to learn about the applied application of the acquired academic theoretical knowledge.

For several years in a row, PrivatBank has been offering an online internship format, the program of which includes a theoretical and practical part. So, the theoretical one contains the following modules: “Non-banking services and agency network”, “Deposits”, “Remote banking”, “Customer payments”, “Sales”, “Products for corporate customers”, “Payment cards”, “About the bank” , “Clients. Marketing in the bank”. Each module is accompanied by video lessons, test tasks, links to the necessary literature and websites. The practical part involves installing the Privat 24 mobile application on a smartphone and registering with Privat 24.

According to the results of the internship, Herman received a certificate about the completion of an online production internship at Privatbank according to the level of training “Specialist in the promotion of bank products of the 1st level”, with 95 points and a final grade of excellent, as well as being entered into the bank’s personnel reserve.
