26.2.2024
Representatives of the Department of History and Archeology participated in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Webinar.
Representatives of the Department of History and Archeology Yevgenia Shevtsova and Ivan Cherednychenko took part in the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical webinar “Russian-Ukrainian War: From Hybrid Aggression to Full-Scale Invasion”.
The scientific event was devoted to the study and analysis of the development of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The aim was to study the factors that caused the war, as well as to assess the impact of the conflict on the political and social situation in both countries.
The webinar presented reports covering various aspects of the conflict: from the struggle for Ukrainian statehood and the analysis of military operations to issues of victory and reforming the UN in wartime conditions. Speakers were students and teachers of various universities who presented their views on the events and their consequences.
Our representatives highlighted the experience of relocation of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in 2014 and 2022. They revealed the complexity and challenges of this process, as well as the impact it had on the learning process and student environment. Covering this topic was an important step in understanding how war affects the educational infrastructure and opportunities of the younger generation. Many questions arose regarding the prospects of the university’s development during the military conflict and after its end.
Webinar participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about the Russian-Ukrainian war and its consequences, as well as express their own opinions and suggestions for further actions.
