Participation in an online survey

Students majoring in “Commodity Research and Expertise in Customs Affairs” and teachers of the Department of Commodity Research and Trade Entrepreneurship took part in the online survey “Research on the perception of the protection of intellectual property rights”.
During the survey, the following questions were clarified:
Do you know what a counterfeit is?
Are the concepts of counterfeit and contraband the same?
Is a replica product a counterfeit?
Have you ever purchased a replica or copy of a famous brand?
Can you distinguish an original product from a counterfeit (replicas, fakes)?
Does the information about whether it is an original product or a counterfeit (replica, fake) affect your choice of purchases?
Would you buy a product knowing that it is not original?
If so, what will have a decisive influence on your decision-making when buying a replica, fake)?
If you want to buy a branded item, what would you prefer?*
What products do you think are most often counterfeited?
Do you think that counterfeiting poses a serious threat to the health of consumers?
Do you think the counterfeit product is produced in Ukraine or imported into Ukraine from abroad?
What measures do you consider to be effective in combating the spread of counterfeiting?
Do you think that in Ukraine it is necessary to strengthen responsibility for the production and distribution of counterfeit goods?
Do you think that buyers should also participate in preventing and stopping the circulation of counterfeit goods (fakes, replicas)?
Do you know to which state body you can report the sale of counterfeit goods?
Do you know about the role of customs in the protection of intellectual property rights?
If it becomes necessary to find information on how to distinguish an original product from a counterfeit (fake, replica), which of the sources will you use?
