At the Oriental Philology and Translation Studies Department, a regular meeting of the educational and methodological center SvitLingva took place.

Last week, Nadiia Demchenko, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Oriental Philology and Translation Studies Department, held a regular meeting on the topic “Commonly Confused Words in English” and “Color Idioms in English.”

Speaking activity was mainly based on the proposed topics and given examples. Some practical tasks were given for developing both lexical and speaking habits. Proposed topics were correlated with the semester obligatory program in English grammar.

Communication took place in a friendly atmosphere, and the set goals were achieved.
