Deepening the knowledge of “Plastic Anatomy”

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Arts visited the Poltava State Medical University to deepen their knowledge of “Plastic Anatomy”

On February 22, 2024, junior year students of the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts together with teachers visited the anatomy classes of the Poltava State Medical University.

The excursion was conducted by Mykhailo Koptev, associate professor of the Department of Anatomy with Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery.

The students learned about various educational preparations and learned what software students of the medical university use to study human anatomy.

Those who wished had the opportunity to try to investigate the structure of a person using VR technology. Upon completion, the tourists wrote their impressions in the review book. This experience will supplement the acquired knowledge base in the discipline “Plastic Anatomy”, which is studied by art students in the 1st year.
