The Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences held a scientific seminar “Online Registration of Copyright for a Work: Actual Changes”.

The speaker was Doctor of Philosophy in Earth Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences Dmytro SOPOV.

During the seminar, the issue of online registration of copyright for a work using SEV ZES (SEV – System of Electronic Interaction; ZES – Institute of Expertise) from UKRNOIVI (Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation) was considered. SEV ZES is designed to automate the entire range of work with electronic documents, which are exchanged between the subjects of relations that arise during the implementation of procedures for acquiring and maintaining the validity of intellectual property rights.

During the meeting, Mr. Dmytro, in online mode, told how to submit an application for copyright registration of a work (article, textbook, study guide, etc.), how to sign it using a qualified electronic signature (KEP/ECP), upload a complete set of documents to SEV ZES , and also shared some life hacks for this process.

At the end of the seminar, Dmytro Serhiiovych was asked many questions, to which the speaker gave thorough answers.
