Guest lecture

Students and teachers of the Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences attended the guest lecture “Modern Technologies and Equipment for Chemical Plant Protection”. 

Oksana VASYLENKO, an expert in spraying of the Lechler GmbH company in Ukraine, shared her experience for the academic community of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences. The topic of the meeting was the topical issue: “Modern Technologies and Equipment for Chemical Plant Protection.” The participants of the meeting learned about the types and functions of sprayers; how to measure spraying effectiveness; how to choose a sprayer; assortment of Lechler sprayers for agriculture; modern technologies in spraying.

At the end of the meeting, Ms. Oksana answered numerous questions from the audience: about the use of spraying drones; environmental impact of plant protection products; about factors that affect the effectiveness of spraying, etc.
