A joint meeting of working groups of the EPP was held at the Ukrainian Language Department.
On February 14, 2024, a joint meeting of the working groups of the educational and professional programs “Ukrainian Language and Literature”, “Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and literature (English)” of the second level of higher education in the specialty 014.01 Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature) was held.
The guarantors of educational programs took part in the discussion of educational programs: Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assoc. Larysa Kolesnikova; Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assoc. Oksana Kleschova; members of working groups: head of the Ukrainian Language Department, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Prof. Alla Nikitina; Doctor of Philology, Prof Kateryna Glukhovtseva; Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assoc. Nadiia Karlova; Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assoc. Olena Lapko; and Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assoc. Svitlana Negodiaieva.
The acting head of the Department of Quality Management of Educational Activity, Assoc. Margarita Kravchenko, who takes an active part both in the process of improving relevant educational programs and in the process of their implementation, was invited to the meeting.
Members of the working group conducted an analysis of the educational components of the two EPPs, offered their own vision regarding the need to update them in view of the list of program competencies and program learning outcomes.
Larysa Kolesnikova noted that students were involved in the discussion of educational programs and their quality assessment, who, as a result of the survey, determined the level of relevance of the educational and professional program for professional activity; expressed wishes regarding the number of professional educational components needed for successful employment; focused attention on the level of the practical component of training, on the organization of production practice; outlined their considerations regarding the formation and implementation of an individual learning trajectory.
The discussion of the monitoring results of the survey of students and graduates regarding the quality of the educational and professional program and the educational process will allow to raise the level of training of competitive specialists.
Alla Nikitina focused on the final certification, in particular, on the form of conducting a comprehensive exam in professional disciplines, noting that this exam is designed to check not only the level of scientific, theoretical and practical training of graduates, but also the formation of professional knowledge and skills necessary for their pedagogical activity, but also the presence of communication skills and possession of modern teaching methods.
The head of industrial practice Svitlana Negodiaieva emphasized the need to expand the bases of industrial practice, which involves concluding new contracts with educational institutions.
The guarantors of the educational programs noted that due to personnel changes, it became necessary to change the composition of the EPP working groups, paying special attention to the requirements for external and internal stakeholders.
