Informal education in action!

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University recognizes the importance of additional knowledge that students can acquire outside the traditional educational program in order to encourage self-education and non-formal learning.

Thus, Herman Zaitsev last semester was actively involved in the study of the course “Budget System”, successfully completed the online course “Budget Process – Basics” from EdEra – a Ukrainian online education studio. This not only deepened his understanding of the subject, but also earned him extra points, reflecting his initiative and commitment to learning. Online course “Budget Process. Basics” was prepared within the framework of the Initiative for the Development of Analytical Centers in Ukraine, which is implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Open Society Initiative for Europe (OSIFE) with the financial support of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine.

Polina Lushpai and Artur Lavrentsov, who are mastering the “Money and Credit” course, strive to better understand the basics of monetary relations, for which they were awarded additional points for successfully completing the online course “Just About Money” from Prometheus – the largest online education platform in Ukraine. The course will be interesting and useful to everyone who wants to gain basic knowledge in the field of banking services and financial security.

This emphasizes that our educational community values self-development and deepening of knowledge through online learning, motivates students to constantly improve their competencies and professional skills.
