All-Ukrainian webinar “Modern Challenges of Social Work”

On February 13, 2024, the All-Ukrainian Webinar “Modern Challenges of Social Work” began its work, which will continue until June 2024.

The organizers of the webinars were the Department of Social Pedagogy of LTSNU and the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work of the Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.

Iryna Mykolaivna Trubavina, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy of LTSNU, was the moderator of the first edition on the topic “Case management with families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances”.

230 participants took part in the online event, including social workers, professional social workers of territorial communities, representatives of social service centers, territorial centers, public organizations and charitable foundations, teachers of pre-higher and higher education institutions, students of the first (bachelor’s), second (master’s) and third (educational and scientific) levels of various higher education institutions of Ukraine.

Webinar participants, in particular, students majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” of LTSNU, showed a high level of interest in the topic and had the opportunity to ask questions and chat with the speaker during the meeting. The participants were especially interested in information about the use of case management technology with clients affected by war.

As a result of participation in the webinar, all participants received certificates.
