Judges from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University!

The main judging panel of the Ukrainian Indoor Tug of War Championship among university students included teachers from LTSNU.

On February 10-11, 2024, Ukrainian Indoor Tug of War Championship among university students was held in the indoor track and field arena of the Ivan Piddubny Olympic College of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. 14 men’s and 10 women’s teams from 9 higher educational institutions of Ukraine took part in the competition.

The Main Board of Judges of the Championship included:

  • the main judge of the competition was Oleksandr DUBOVOI, master of sports of Ukraine of international class, master of sports of Ukraine in powerlifting, world record holder in all-around wrestling, multiple champion of international and national level tournaments, director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU;
  • Volodymyr DUBOVOI, master of sports of Ukraine in powerlifting, senior lecturer of the Olympic and Professional Sports Department of LTSNU;
  • Volodymyr DUBOVOY, a 1st-year bachelor’s student majoring in 017 “Sport” of the ER IHCS of LTSNU took part in the judicial internship.

According to the results of the competition, athletes from the team of the National Aviation University became the champions of Ukraine! But regardless of the results, the championship became an important event for the participants, which united them in a common desire for sports peaks and high achievements.

We express our sincere thanks to the Federation of the Strongest Athletes of Ukraine and Tug of War for the high level of competition organization and the involvement of student youth in sports.
