III stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Information Technologies

The Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies took part in the III stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Information Technologies.

On February 10, 2024, the ER IMIT took part in the III (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Information Technologies with the participation of schoolchildren from the Luhansk region.

At the beginning of the competition, H.A. Mohylnyi, director of the ER IMIT, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, chairman of the jury, addressed the students participating in the Olympiad with motivational words, emphasizing personal responsibility, academic integrity, compliance with the conditions of holding and participation in intellectual competitions.

Members of the jury Volodymyr Donchenko, deputy director of the ER IMIT for educational work, senior lecturer and Mykola Semenov, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor congratulated the participants of the Olympic competitions.

Inna Shakhno, methodologist of the Department of Natural Sciences and Methods of Their Teaching at the Luhansk OIPPO, introduced the participants to the features of the Olympiad.

Olympiad participants joined the ZOOM online conference and had the opportunity to ask questions about the conditions of the tasks to the regional jury. The exchange of tasks and their solutions took place in the virtual Google classroom. Tasks were performed using office applications (MS Office 365).

Olympiad tasks of the III stage of the All-Ukrainian Information Technology Olympiad were focused on the IT competence of the students, their intellectual potential, originality and creativity of thinking.
