There was a meeting of students of the Educational and Research Institute of Technology and Trade with representatives of the Main Department of the State Production and Consumer Service in the Poltava Region. 

On February 8, 2024, another meeting of students of the Educational and Research Institute of Technologies and Trade with specialists of the Main Department of the State Production and Consumer Service in Poltava Region was held as part of cooperation. The purpose of the event was to provide information in the field of consumer rights.

Yana Kocherga, the chief specialist of the Market and Metrological Supervision Department of the Office for the Consumer Rights Protection and Control over Regulated Prices of the Main Department of the State Production and Consumer Service in Poltava region, presented the main aspects of the work of the Market and Metrological Supervision Department. She spoke about the procedures for measuring, certifying and determining compliance of products with established standards on the market.

Svitlana Davydenko, deputy head of the Department of Control in the Field of Trade, Works and Services of the Office for the Protection of Consumer Rights and Control of Regulated Prices of the Main Department of the State Production and Consumer Service in Poltava region, informed about the risks of buying goods via the Internet and told several interesting cases from her professional experience.

After the presentations, an active discussion took place, during which students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive advice on issues that interested them. The discussion topic was very useful for our students. We hope for further fruitful cooperation with representatives of the Main Department of the State Production and Consumer Service in Poltava Region.
