Guest lecture “Innovation is beneficial! / Innovation pays off!”

Students and teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management took part in the guest lecture “Innovation is beneficial! / Innovation pays off!”.

On February 5, 2024, students and teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of innovations and their impact on the economy during a guest lecture on “Innovation is beneficial!/Innovation pays off!”, conducted by Joanna Prystrom, Ph.D., Professor of the Department of Political Economy, Faculty of Economics and Finance, Białystok University in Poland. This event is an example of international academic cooperation and exchange of experience between higher educational institutions.

Professor Prystrom shared with the audience her deep knowledge and experience in the field of innovation economy, focusing on how innovation can serve as a driving force for financial growth and business development. She focused on the importance of investing in new technologies and on the practical aspects of integrating innovative strategies into financial and investment management.

The lecture was designed to stimulate critical thinking and an innovative approach in students and teachers, emphasizing that innovation is a key success factor in today’s dynamic world.

Attendees had the opportunity not only to deepen their knowledge of the “Investment” of the first bachelor’s level and the “Financial and Investment Management” of the second master’s level, but also to gain valuable advice on the real application of innovative solutions in the economy and finance.

Special attention was paid to the analysis of cases of successful innovation projects, which allowed the participants to better understand the mechanisms of introducing and scaling innovations in business.

This lecture inspired the participants to make new discoveries and search for innovative solutions in their future professional activities. Our sincere thanks to Ms. Joanna Prystrom for her inspiring lecture.

A significant role in the organization and conduct of this lecture was played by Professor Artur Gorbovyi from the State Tax University. Thanks to his efforts the meeting was held at a high organizational level. His contribution to establishing a dialogue between academic circles of different countries is an example of effective cooperation aimed at improving the quality of education and raising the professional level of students.
