Meeting of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions

On February 2, 2024, a meeting of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions was held.

The first item on the agenda was the discussion of the results of the scientific work of the Department for 2023. The Head of the Department, Professor Tetiana Sych, informed the audience of the main provisions of the report of the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Affairs for 2023 A. V. Zhuchok, which was heard at the Academic Council of the University on January 26, 2024.

She noted that according to the results of the rating of scientific achievements of the departments, scientific and pedagogical workers of the university in 2023, the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions took the second place among socio-humanitarian departments (1st in 2022). However, the majority of scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department entered the top 10 results of individual ratings among professors and associate professors of socio-humanitarian departments (among professors: T.V. Sych – 2nd place, O.I. Kravchenko – 4th place, V.V. Zablotskyi – 7th place; among assistant professors: N.S. Vasynova – 2nd place, E.V.Ivanov  – 5th place, O.M. Ptakhina – 9th place), there are no scientific and pedagogical workers with an unsatisfactory result (less than 10 points) at the Department.

Among other important issues, the results of the defense of the qualification papers of the master’s students majoring in 073 “Management”, educational program “Educational Institution Management” were discussed; measures to ensure the formation of a contingent of master’s degrees for 2024-2025.

The Associate Professor Nadiia VASYNYOVA reported on the preparation for the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Integration of Science and Management Practice in the Conditions of Socio-Cultural Transformations”, which is scheduled for April 25, 2024. Professor Tetiana Sych outlined the main tasks for the preparation and holding of the First All-Ukrainian Pedagogical Conference on April 3, 2024 readings dedicated to the memory of Ye. M. Khrykov “Contexts of Yevhen Mykolayovych Khrykov’s creativity: current problems of educational and public management”, who died during the tragic war events in Irpin on March 23, 2022.

Associate Professor Yevhen IVANOV reported on the state of the educational and methodological complexes of the department’s master’s degrees and emphasized in relation to this issue the main problems that arise during the accreditation of educational programs, as well as the need to take into account modern trends in the preparation of master’s degrees in the specialties “Public Management and Administration”, “Management” when updating educational – methodical materials.

According to the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions
