Regional scholarships

Mykola Barannik and Oleksandr Luzhbin received regional scholarships.

By the order of the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Artem Lysogor, dated January 26, 2024, scholarships for the first half of 2024 were assigned to promising and leading sportsmen of the Luhansk region. Among the 34 scholars:

• Mykola BARANNIK – teacher of the Olympic and Professional Sports Department of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, member of the national team of Ukraine, prize winner of the 2022 World Games, multiple winner of world and of the European Championships, world champion in powerlifting-2023 (Lithuania),;
• Oleksandr LUZHBIN – 2nd year bachelor’s student majoring in “017 Physical Culture and Sport”, silver medalist of the 2023 European Powerlifting Championship among juniors (Denmark), master of sports of Ukraine, multiple champion and prizewinner of all-Ukrainian competitions.
