Students of the Lysychansk Pedagogical College took part in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Children’s and Youth Creativity.
During December-January, educational portal “Alaba”, with the organizational support of LLC “Educational Portal” TM, held the 1st All-Ukrainian competition of children’s and youth creativity, dedicated to the memory of Kateryna Bilokur “Blossoming Palette”.
Kateryna Bilokur is an outstanding Ukrainian artist, known for her original work and style, which is often called “primitivism” or “naive art”.
Kateryna Bilokur became famous in Ukraine and abroad thanks to her creative achievements. Her works were exhibited in many countries of the world and recognized as a unique example of naive art.
In particular, in 1954, at the International Exhibition in Paris, Pablo Picasso saw her paintings “Tsar-Colossus”, “Birch” and “Collective Farm Field”. “If we had an artist of this level of skill, we would make the whole world talk about her,” he said. Her work still remains an important part of Ukrainian cultural heritage.
The main goal of the competition is to create conditions for the spiritual and cultural development of children, reveal the creative potential of children and youth, nurture artistic and aesthetic tastes, popularize various types of creative activity, promote the preservation of national art among children and youth, identify and reveal young talents.
Part of the received organizational (charitable) contributions was directed to the purchase of the needs of the Armed Forces and/or humanitarian aid.
Students of the Lysychansk Pedagogical Professional College Tetiana Iryanova, Tetiana Solianyk, Yelyzaveta Litvinova led by supervisors N.V. Sergienko and L.V. Shulika took part in the competition and won prizes. Each of the participants decently presented their work in the chosen category: drawing, decorative and applied art.
We congratulate our girls and their supervisors on the victory and wish them creative growth and inspiration.
