Teachers and students of the  Romanсe & Germanic Philology Department participated in the online seminar “Combating Negative Informational and Psychological Influences.”

To form a defeatist attitude among student youth towards Russian propaganda and create an effective system for countering disinformation in educational institutions, on February 1, 2024, an online meeting of teachers and students of the first (bachelor) level of higher education of the Department of Romance & Germanic Philology was held with the inspector of the Department of Relations with by the public of the Patrol Police department in the Kyiv region of the Patrol Police Department Yevhenia Ivanchenko “Combating negative informational and psychological influences.”

One of the most dangerous directions of Russian propaganda is its influence on the youth. Russian special services actively use social networks and online games to spread misinformation and ideas of violence among young people, including mass shootings and bombing of educational institutions.

The meeting organizers were the State institution “Scientific and Methodological Center for Higher and Рre-higher Education”  and the Department of Public Relations of the Patrol Police Department in the Kyiv region of the Patrol Police Department.
