Final certification of the master’s students majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology”

The final certification of master’s students majorign in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” took place. 

From January 16 to January 31, 2024, the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology held the final certification of master’s students majorign in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” of full-time and part-time forms of education.

The comprehensive attestation exam in professional disciplines and the public defense of qualification papers took place in a remote format. Applicants had the opportunity to take a test exam using the “Electronic University” system, and defend qualifying papers in video conference mode using the “Google Meet” service. The results of these stages of the final certification confirmed the level of knowledge, skills and professional competences acquired by the applicants.

All students have demonstrated a good and high level of readiness for:

– implementation of scientific research, applied and innovative activities taking into account modern world and domestic experience of social work, social pedagogy and practical psychology;

– solving complex professional tasks and solving interdisciplinary problems based on the application of modern scientific knowledge, methods and technologies of the professional activity of socio-economic specialists;

– provision of wide opportunities for the social development of the country, professional development and self-development of the personality of specialists and clients.

According to the results of the final certification, the examination commission highly appreciated the professional knowledge and research skills of the master’s students, and made a decision to award 130 master’s degree holders with the qualification: master’s degree in social work, social worker, social pedagogue, and practical psychologist.
