Workshop “Ethics and Gender Sensitivity in Research”

Teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology joined the workshop on “Ethics and Gender Sensitivity in Research”.

Recently, teachers of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology, Kateryna Kotelenets, Svitlana Khobta and Yuliia Nuzhna, joined the workshop on the topic “Ethics and Gender Sensitivity in Research”, organized by the Public Organization “Center for the Study of Society”.

Cedos. Cedos is an independent think tank and community working on social development issues since 2010. The mission of Cedos is to reveal the systemic causes of social problems and to find solutions for them. The basis of our approach is the study of social processes and state policies. We aim to disseminate critical knowledge, promote progressive change and engage the public in support of these initiatives.

The workshop “Ethics and Gender Sensitivity in Research” was held as an attempt to bring together experts from various fields to discuss key aspects of ethics and gender sensitivity in scientific research. Workshop participants shared experiences and ideas on how to take ethical aspects and gender dimensions into account in their research and projects. For teachers, this workshop became not only an opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of ethics and gender studies, but also a means of supporting initiatives aimed at building a more ethical and gender-sensitive society. By joining the discussion of important issues, teachers demonstrate their readiness to actively contribute to the solution of modern challenges and support the values of gender equality and ethical scientific research.

Together with Cedos, they continue to promote progressive change and promote social development based on the principles of justice and inclusion.
