Unity Day at the Institute of Philology and Journalism

Every year on January 22, Ukraine celebrates the Unity Day.

That is why, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism hosted a thematic test about the history of the Unity Day for the employees of the directorate, scientific and pedagogical workers and bachelor’s and master’s students. 

Do you know when this date was officially approved? When did the action “Living Chain” take place for the first time, which is still one of the most massive events on the occasion of the holiday? Who should we thank that now Ukraine is one and indivisible and more than a hundred years ago proclaimed the Act of Unification of the UPR and ZUNR? With these questions, everyone checked their knowledge and awareness, and at the same time restored historical gaps.

On January 22, we celebrate the Unity Day of Ukraine – a day that symbolizes our unity. Let each of us retain the strength of the spirit, vigor and optimism. Let every family have peace and tranquility, love and mutual understanding. We believe in the future of our native country!
