Defense of qualification works at the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business. 

On January 20-22, 2024, the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business of the Educational and Research Institute of Technologies and Trade hosted the defense of the qualification papers of the full-time and part-time master’s students majoring in:

• 241 “Hotel and Restaurant Business”, the educational program “Hotel and Restaurant Business”,
• 242 “Tourism”, the educational and professional program “Tourism”.

Master’s qualification works were devoted to solving complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of hotel, restaurant and tourism business.

The master’s students presented the results of scientific research on the development of tourism at the national and regional levels in the war and post-war period, programs for the development of tourism and hotel business in different regions of Ukraine, directions for the promotion of domestic tourism in the market of tourist services, quality management, standardization and certification of hotel services in Ukraine, assessment of the competitiveness of restaurant establishments, formation of a strategy for the development of hospitality enterprises, the mechanism of enterprise management, other strategic directions of development and management of a tourist and hotel-restaurant business enterprise.

The commission positively assessed the research results published by future specialists in the field of tourism and hospitality and noted the appropriate level of mastery of general scientific, special and professional skills in the application of various methods of substantiating scientific results of a theoretical and praxeological nature, possessing the relevant competencies necessary for the analysis of the activities of tourism and hotel-restaurant business.

We wish our graduates successful career growth and achievement of their goals! We believe that the professional activity of masters in the performance of complex tasks and challenges faced by the hotel, restaurant and tourism business will contribute to the joint victory of Ukraine in the war and its post-war recovery!
