Meetings of the labor team

On January 18, 2024, a meeting of the labor team was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Technologies and Trade.
The agenda includes the following issues:
- approval of the plan for the future development of the Educational and Research Institute of Technologies and Trade;
- approving the candidacy of Eduard Volodymyrovych Potapenko for the position of director of the Educational and Research Institute of Technologies and Trade on the proposal of the rector of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” Olena Leonidivna Karaman;
- submission of proposals to the university academic council regarding candidacy for the position of head of the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourist Business;
- submission of proposals to the university academic council regarding candidacy for the position of head of the Department of Commodity Science and Commercial Entrepreneurship;
- legal and social analysis of reforms proposed by the Government in higher education.
According to the results of the open vote, the labor team unanimously supported the long-term development plan and the candidacy of Eduard Volodymyrovych Potapenko for the position of director of the Educational and Research Institute of Technologies and Trade of LTSNU.
By means of a secret ballot, it was unanimously decided to propose the candidacy of Viktor Vasylovych Burdun to the university academic council for the position of head of the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourist Business.
Two applications were submitted for the position of the head of the Department of Merchandising and Commercial Entrepreneurship – from Dmytro Yuriyovych Drozhzhyn and Liudmyla Ivanivna Senogonova. Both candidates presented their department development program. According to the results of the secret ballot, it was decided by a majority of votes to propose the candidacy of Dmytro Yuriiovych Drozhzhyn to the university academic council.
The labor collective unanimously decided to support the initiative of the NGO “Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine” regarding an appeal to the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a proposal to develop a legislative framework with the aim of solving problems in higher education to improve the quality of education and science in conditions of war state and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
